Singing and Dancing Competition

KPS2021 Singing and Dancing Competition is held to showcase students’ talents and to boost their self-esteem.

Through this activity, students may acquire discipline that enables them to perform in a show and enjoy music in our human capital development efforts to produce balanced individuals who are emotionally balanced, creative and innovative. This competition also explores students’ communication skills and interactions through performance.

1.KPS 2021 Singing and Dancing Competition is open to kindergarten students aged 5 and 6 years old.

2.There is only one (1) category which is:-
i) Individual Singing and Dancing Category

3.The language allowed for performance is either Malay Language or English Language.

4.Submission is made via digital video submission/upload to the KPS Portal before 14 November 2021, 11.59pm (extended). The video must be recorded in AVI atau MP4 format, the layout must be in horizontal orientation with 1080P/720P resolutions.

5.The duration of each video must be within three (3) to six (6) minutes. The choice of song must not contain elements such as racial discrimination, religion, sexual connotations and other negative sensitivities. The use of props and special effects in the video to display creativity  is allowed in the video.

6.Dance  movement and performance must be solo and independent as long as the participants’ safety is assured. Participants must also maintain decency throughout their performance.

Creativity   20 marks
Choreography  20 marks
Stage Presence    10 marks
Mood   10 marks
Appropriate movement (with music)  10 marks
Quality of Audio and Video    10 marks
 Total Score:    100 marks

1.All entries will be put to public vote until 17 November 2021, 11.59pm.

2.The entries with most votes will be selected as Top 30 finalists.

3.Top 10 finalists will then be presented to panel judges to determine the Top 3 winners.
